A new term for you…and for me. One I hadn’t heard of before. IOI. All will be revealed.

I was in a bar celebrating a friends birthday when I spotted a rather hot looking man. I couldn’t take my eyes off him and thought I caught him looking at me a couple of times. Great news!!

However, I was having a conversation with a friends fiance, and so it may have looked like he was my boyfriend. I decided to have a trip to the ladies and asked my friend to come over and kiss her fiance while I was gone. She obliged.

So when I got back my friend and her fiance were being all ‘couple-y’ and I was able to join some other friends on a bench for a chat. This was perfect as it meant I was sat right next to the hot guy who was with his friends.

I sat chatting away when I felt a nudge…what do I do?? It was the hot guy!

Being a fool I ignored it. Then I felt his finger on my leg. HE FINGERED MY LEG!! This is the greatest thrill I’ve had in a long time. WHAT DO I DO??

Of course, I ignored him and carried on chatting to my friends.

A few minutes later his friends got up to go and so he reluctantly followed them. I watched him go knowing I would never see him again and my chance to nab a sexy, tall, dark and handsome man were gone.

In my disappointment I consulted with my friends, who introduced me to the new term…IOI. “He gave you an IOI” they said. “What is that?” I said. Then all was explained.

Indication Of Interest!

Apparently him nudging me and then touching my leg were IOI’s!!

He was interested, he wanted to start a convo with me and I blanked him….CRINGE!!

Next time I must have a snappy response prepared incase such circumstances arise again. I cannot let such a fine specimen of a man get away.
