I’ve had a few dates with a man, we communicate every day, sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. Just general chit chat stuff. He has children too so often about our children and what we’ve done that day.
Today he sent me this link (see below) which I found fascinating for a few reasons:
1 – His profile on POF said ‘wants to date but nothing serious’ vs mine ‘ wants a relationship’.
2 – I don’t tell people I date about my blog incase they look at it and read about themselves π but this is a Disney music video.
3 – I told him I laughed at it, he said he found it ‘cute’ and ’emotional’. Hhhhmmmm.
Here it is
It’s left me wondering if men really say what they want, if infact they are emotional women in disguise and if we do indeed all want the happily ever after. Perhaps it’s our fear of hurt that prevents us admitting this stuff. Perhaps men aren’t as closed off to their emotions as I’ve been led to believe. Perhaps we are all just searching for our prince or princess because despite bad experiences in the past, we just all want the happily ever after.
Or perhaps, as adults, we just continue to be ruined by Disney!
